In Design GR FUEL TYPE TWO 

This is a design for a discerning Client on the east coast wanting to increase  the storage on their property while adding a certain more modern flair than is reflected in his current more traditional garage. This use is intended to be a gathering area for friends and family while showing their car collection. This is exactly what Metron was created for, a place to showcase the things we love and to create curated spaces to share with others. This design is being created with our I-3 frame system in order that the frame itself is secondary or hidden in the design except for a few areas that the Client wants to show a slightly industrial aesthetic in that the steel rafters might be shown. The HVAC system is being designed to create a type of commercial exposed design. This design has office space as well as combined smoking / coffee lounge.

In Design TC - NEO

This is s design for a Client that wants to blend traditional design elements along with a touch of modern aesthetic to create what we believe is an elegant while still being cutting edge to answer the question of where best to place his collection. The NEO features a traditional gable roof design incorporating a Daylight Roof element in that multi-wall polycarbonate panels allow only certain light radiation through to highlight the interior of the space. This Daylight aesthetic is continued with custom nano glass doors allowing a huge expanse opening on the side of the structure.
Stone panels that mechanically fasten allowing for faster than traditional installation relay a certain architectural age to the building. Cementing it into the surrounding mature landscape. 

BK Garage - FUEL THREE BAY

This is a design for a client that wants large storage bays and three prominent display bays for the frequent drivers in his life amount which is an off road side by side that he tracks in his spare time. The Client is an avid AMG collector  and off road enthusiast. The extra storage is for rafts, canoes and other outdoor gear as well as a planned cigar lounge for his buddies to share their off road stories. These garage spaces we design rent just for vehicles they are spaces for friends and love ones to reminisce and recount stories of the road or the off-road in this case.

CARGO Track Building

We are excited to work with an undisclosed Track (signed NDAs still in effect) to work on our CARGO concept garage storage buildings. This is a concept we came up with years ago and we are seeing this come to fruition. The idea is our typical metal frame structure but utilizing claddings that mimic the aesthetic of a cargo store container. This aesthetic has its own appeal and we wanted to utilize this of a design concept without the size constraints of a typical cargo container. imagine this on your property, dialed up scale or more in the cargo aesthetic it makes an appealing, strong structure for whatever you would like to put inside.

MG Residence - The Doctor FUEL HYBRID HOME / GARAGE

This Client owns the largest private healthcare facility in the United States and has a large collection of cares including some very rare Ferraris. This will be a new residence and garage combination. The Client has very specific requirements for vehicle storage as he has some very large off road vehicles as well. A large amount of Natural light is a specific  request while controlling the possible hardness of the Arizona skyline. We help to control this variable change in exposure by utilizing our signature large over hangs which lend architectural flair while performing a very real function in light control. A mixture of cladding panels designed to handle the large amount of sun exposure are utilized while taking the surrounding area into context. Due to some height restrictions on site and to allow for maximum ceiling height we utilized SIP Structurally Insulated Panels for the roof of the structure. This type panel has the added benefit of increased insulation in a small thickness. The residence and garage together equal over 12800 sf.

The Shipping Magnate - FUEL NATION -HYBRID HOME

The Client is a very busy shipping and freight owner. He is on the move across the country at any time and owns property on both coasts. he is an avid Alpha Romeo as well as Ferrari collector and wanted a home that would serve his needs for travel as we'll as a place to showcase his collection. the Fuel Nation was the design that moved him and this large expansive glass area helps to display some of his favored cars on the second floor living room area. This area has an overlook into the lower garage so that he can keep his eye on the balance of the collection. This is a fully functional residence and garage at 15000 sf. ​

The Industrial Building Designer: METRO CURVE Barndominum

The Client is an Industrial Designer that specializes in automotive aesthetic design. This building is located on a rural 35 acre farm setting and based on this its function serves the purpose of a large residence space with two stories and an overlook loft in the main living space as well as specialty vehicle storage and farm based equipment storage. The living area features our oversized gas fireplace along with our mechanically fastened cultured stone work. The exterior panels vary from aluminum wood look cladding to high end architectural metal panel cladding at the garage exterior locations.
Multiple polycarbonate overhead high speed garage doors along with a large daylight commercial two story glass wall in the living areas add to the distinctive look of the design.The Metro Curve curved roof features architectural striated 24 gauge roof panels which provide a lifetime of service and strength. The building is engineered to be hurricane rated for additional safety of expensive luxury vehicle. The building has over 11,520 sf of two story space.

The Retired Business Owner: FUEL METRO - STUDIO SERIES

The Client had retired from a very successful business career and wanted to have a smaller footprint but still a very modern design that would rest in a wooded secluded setting. The FUEL is the basis for the initial design which features a stepped transom design that allows off large amounts of natural light.We copied this element in the garage design as well but in a different scale. We nestled the " L Shaped " building into the elevation of the property by raising the main house which allows for a more natural setting. This is a fully functional residence at 5000 sf.

The Industrialist:  Fuel City Design - Two Story

This Client has taken our popular Fuel City Design for the basis of this two story design which features a mono slope roof design and a Loft area.This Client was desiring a home office away from the office so the upstairs Loft will featuring a remote office with enough area for extra staff when required.
The Client wanted full views of the surrounding property that is secluded in the Pacific Northwest.

The Movie Star: FUEL Design Basis -Two Story

This Client has property bordering a National State Park and desired a garage building that would meet the criteria of the architectural overlay that engulfs the property while providing them with plenty of garage storage for a large motorcycle collection. This building features a modern bedroom-bath-kitchen area on the second floor with a generous balcony outlook to take advantage of the beautiful forrest views.

The Billionaire: BOXX Design Basis

When you are a Billionaire a question might arise as to what you need? That answer is more space for your car collection. That is exactly the solution proposed by this Client when more room is needed but they did not desire a pole barn look but something far more stylish so that this building might be located near the main house. The Boxx was the model that intrigued the Client the most. This design as well as the size ordered allows for a car collection of 10-12 of the Clients most important vehicles.

The Software Developer: FUEL CUSTOM

This Client had very specific needs and required a large amount of space for a large vehicle collection as well as a large second floor meeting and media center. The Client required that the space be a retreat of sorts for their employees so large meeting areas as well as multiple restrooms and kitchen facilities were required. This design features our tubular steel main columns but is a Hybrid in that we utilized I-beams as rafters to allow for the huge clear span. The building houses over twenty cars.
