James (Jimmy) Harrell and his lovely wife Tina are car enthusiasts and collectors who live in gorgeous Ono Island AL. Jimmy has been designing and working with Metron to complete his very special garage that will feature office quarters, full restaurant style kitchen and food prep area, balconies and guest overlooks, boat storage, car storage, carwash as well as an area for entertaining guests. The 12000 plus square foot facility will feature a special display area for some of his car collection including the Ferrari 488 Spyder (shown above).
Jimmy Harrell is a self-made made who built his own business over a span of 44 years. His company, Industrial ValveSales and Service, sold and serviced valves to refineries, paper mills, power plants and chemical plants, eventually expanding to three locations in Alabama, Louisiana and Tennessee. We talked with Jimmy to hear more about his story, and what it takes to create success and accomplish your dreams in life the way he has. Here’s what he told us ...
Philosophy: Work hard, play hard and trust in the Lord!
Motivation: Before I retired it was my business, and the valve industry. Now...it’s cars, something I never had time for when I was in business. Just love staying busy
Favorite Car in Collection: Probably the Ferrari, it’s my need for speed...LOL!
On the Hunt: A 1955 Chevy, 1940 Willis, 1957 Chevy, and 911 Porsche
On the Horizon: Building my ManCave, buying more cars, traveling, and spending time with family.
My Younger Self: Work hard, stay focused, service your customer, learn as much as you can, and treat people the way you want to be treated.
Why MetronGarage : I decided on Metron after my wife and I visited the Hogue family, and saw what they had to offer, as well as their professionalism. The Hogue family have been a pleasure to work with, and we now have life long friends. Thanks to Tim and the family!

Fuel City Design:
Jimmy has started with our popular Fuel City Design which features a mono slope roof design and a Loft area. We have customized the basic design by removing the roof surround and allowing a large oversize overhang to help produce shade from the hot Florida sun. We have also placed the Loft central in the design. The Loft will be Jimmy's Office and special Guest entertaining areas. These areas will have multiple overlook capability into the vehicle display area on the first floor. This gives an awesome space to relax among your collectibles and have almost 360 degree viewing of your car collection.
